XX CENTURIES OF HISTORY

The oldest rooms in the Palace of the Marquises of Malferit, built in the fifteenth century, hosting a complete tour of the town’s history.

The exhibition is conceived and designed to educate and entertain; to satisfy both lovers of historical details as well as the curious who enjoy anecdotes; adults and children, with an original but rigorous approach.

CONTENT

The content is designed with four narrative axes, with different objectives, but complementary to each other:

• History of Aielo de Malferit
  A tour chronologically ordered which starts with prehistoric times and ends in the twentieth century. It covers local and national events that were important from a political, social or artistic point of view in the town.
• Highlights
  Selection of the most important events in the history of Aielo de Malferit that, at the time, represented a radical change in the lives of citizens.
• Biographies
  Journey through the lives of the most famous people of the town among which the prominent figures in politics, sports, culture are and even the popular legend.
• Characters for Children
  With a distinct and graphic approach and accompanied by very short, simple texts, there are throughout the exhibition large characters, silhouetted figures, who tell facts and legends that are of interest for children.
